#TidalNO

I know this is technically not about fashion but it definitely is a huge #FAIL. Thank you for that "inspirational" speech about music Alicia Keys but what are you really selling? It doesn't sound like it is anything different than Spotify if you ask me, just sounds like you are now just trying to make money off of it. I mean this whole speech is literally a crock of crap, she is acting like we have no means of finding music out there. I just don't really get what is different and exciting about this. Another question, why Alicia Keys, when was the last time she was relevant? Not to mention, who dressed all these people? Rihanna looks like she tried on her fathers old suit and decided to wear it to this "press release". This all just seems a bit ridiculous. Someone tell me how this is making any sort of impact? Yes lets please give MORE money to people like Kanye West, he totally deserves it... #NO #TidalNO #GoHome

Is That A Diaper?

SomeThing-Drop-Crotch-Shorts-800x1067.jpg

Okay, okay, okay... I will admit! I tried it! I tried to rock the whole drop crotch trend but every time I looked in the mirror, I couldn't help but think baby diaper. I'm sorry,  it was a trying period and people are still trying to make it happen but just like fetch... stop trying to make drop crotch pants happen. I feel like it was a moment of "we are out of idea's, where do we go next?". So we went for the throwback to being a baby? I just don't get it, can someone explain? Does anyone actually think it looks good on anyone or are they just doing it because its a trend? Report back when you have an answer. #FashionFail #DropNo #BabyDiaper

Lex Loser?

I'm sorry, I just don't get it! Of all people to cast, they casted Jesse boring Eisenberg as Lex Luther?! Someone explain this one to me and prove me wrong. He always plays the same exact character and is so one dimension. I can't imagine his acting chops pulling out some amazing, out of the box, shocker to what I am expecting. Who was in charge of this casting because if Jesse fails, you're going down with the boat too. #Lexloser

Marc by Marc Jacobs Discontinued!

Only three seasons in and Marc by Marc Jacobs is already being discontinued. They have officially announced that it will be combined with the regular Marc Jacobs line. After Marc himself left Louis Vuitton to focus on his own brand, the company has decided to go a completely different way. They will be shutting down Marc which consistently makes them money, 70% of their money actually. So, how does this make any sense? The Marc Jacobs line isn't the one making the money nor is it carried in most stores. No one is truly sure why they are doing this and a rep refused to make any comment on the matter of this story.

Why Marc?? What are your plans? Are there bigger plans in the future? Why are you shutting down the number one money maker for your company? I am sure we will find out soon! #MARC #Huh?

Pirate Children Play Dress Up

This is a moment where I want to say "WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!?!?". Takeo Kukuchi's Fall/Winter 2015 collection literally looks like pirate children decided to play dress up and play with sharpie markers. This collection is not wearable and even if it was, I would NEVER wear it. If they were going for childhood fantasy gone wrong, they got it! This collection is a MESS!!! I literally tried to find one piece I thought would be considered a high fashion piece I could try to like... didn't happen. (Not to mention one of the looks looks like a piece from the Chanel Fail look I showed last week)

It has me thinking, "where is me gold?" Cus this just looks like garbage. #FAIL #Shivermetimbers #PiratesoftheFail

Unfinished Business

As much as I would love to love Karl Lagerfeld's NEW Chanel Menswear designs for the Fall/Winter 2015 collection, I can't help but think they look a bit unfinished. I know, I know everyone has to love it because it's Chanel... well, I don't. I think the materials are the only thing interesting about this collection and they don't even help that much because I am too focused on the horrible hems and horrible fit. If I wanted to look like I grabbed an old burlap sack and sewed it together in five minutes, I would go for this collection. Sorry, but it's just not doing it for me. Where's the sophistication we're used to from Chanel? Just seems sloppy. Thoughts? #FAIL
